Earth Day 2008

AMORE initiated a coastal clean-up in Patikul, Sulu in celebration of Earth Day on April 21, 2008. Attended by Sulu Governor Sakur Tan and USAID Deputy Director Elzadia Washington, and participated in by local government units, civic organizations, and Philippine and United States troops, the activity yielded over 600 kilograms of debris picked up off Brgy. Umangay coast.
